Strabismus is a misalignment of the eyes that can affect vision, depth perception and self-confidence. It is common in children but can also develop in adults.
Treatment may involve glasses, vision therapy, or surgery on the eye muscles to realign the eyes. Early treatment in children gives the best results for developing binocular vision.
